Strawberry Mousse

If you love a smooth, creamy dessert with a fruity flavor, this simple eggless Strawberry Mousse recipe is perfect for you.
It has a smooth, creamy texture with a sweet and slightly tangy strawberry flavor, and often served chilled. Strawberry Mousse is fancy enough for a dinner party but easy enough to make whenever you’re craving something sweet!
Yield: Serves 6
- 400 g fresh strawberries
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cold water and 1/4 cup boiling water
- 1 1/2 tablespoons unflavoured gelatin
- 2 cups whipping cream or heavy cream (35%)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
In a blender, puree strawberries with lemon juice and sugar.

Sprinkle gelatin over 1/4 cup cold water and mix well. Add 1/4 cup boiling water and stir constantly until completely dissolved.
Add the dissolved gelatin to strawberry puree, mix well and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form (I use electric mixer).

Gently mix the whipped cream into the puree until well combined.
Spoon into individual serving dishes. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, decorate with strawberry and serve.
