Salted Almonds
Looking for a quick salty snack? Try this salted almonds recipe with only three ingredients! Roasted salted almonds are a delightful snack that combines the rich, nutty flavor of almonds with a satisfying crunch and a savory touch of salt and lemon juice.
These almonds make for a nutritious and delicious snack, perfect for any time of the day, and are often enjoyed on their own or used as a crunchy topping for salads, desserts, or other dishes.
Yield: 400 g Salted Almonds
- 400 g raw almonds
- 6 tablespoons salt
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cups water
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add lemon juice and salt, and stir until dissolved. Remove from the heat.
Add the almonds into the salted water and let soak for about 20 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Drain the water from the almonds. Spread in a single layer onto the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle the almonds with some extra salt.
Roast for 20-25 minutes or until they are nicely browned, stirring at the halfway point. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
