Yield: Serves 5
- 450 g sausage (I used beef hot dog), sliced diagonally
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- salt & pepper
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Drizzle the potatoes with 2 tablespoons oil, and toss until they are evenly coated. Season with salt and pepper.
Spread the potatoes in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the oven until cooked through, about 30 minutes. Set aside. (if you do not have an oven, fry the potatoes)
In a medium pot, heat 6 tablespoons oil over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until slightly golden. Add the sausages and cook for 10-12 minutes.
Add the turmeric and give it a quick stir. Add the tomato paste, salt and pepper to taste. Stir well.
Then add the roasted potatoes and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Serve Sosis Bandari with bread.
