Garlic Bread
How to make cheesy garlic bread with sliced bread? Here is a simple recipe for homemade garlic bread made with sliced bread and topped with a mixture of butter, garlic, Parmesan cheese and oregano.
This garlic bread recipe is crunchy, buttery and garlicky and is a perfect side to any pasta dish or soup, or even as a fast starter for any dinner party.

Yield: Makes 10 Garlic Breads
- 10 slices of French or Italian Bread, about 3/4-inch thick
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- salt to taste
In a small bowl, cream the butter. Add the Parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic and salt to taste. Mix well.
Preheat oven to 355°F.
Spread a thick layer of butter mixture on top of each slice. Arrange the bread slices in a baking tray.
Bake in the oven until they are golden, about 8-10 minutes.
Serve the garlic breads as a side dish or as an appetizer.
