There is nothing better and easier dessert than fresh fruits dipped in custard pudding! Fruit Custard made with chopped seasonal fruits, custard powder, milk and sugar is a creamy and surprisingly light dessert.
This fruit salad with custard is a perfect dessert recipe for any occasion! Fall Fruit Salad is another simple dessert that looks and tastes awesome and is super easy to make.
Yield: Serves 4
- 3 tablespoons custard powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 cups milk
- 220 g raspberries
- 220 g blueberries
- 2 mangoes, peeled and chopped
Dissolve custard powder in 1 cup of cold milk.
Bring 2 cups of milk to a boil on medium heat. Add the dissolved custard-milk mixture and sugar. Cook over medium-low heat until thickens (about 11-12 minutes), stirring frequently.
Remove from the heat. Transfer to a bowl and let it cool completely. Custard will thicken more as it cools.
Add the chopped fruits to the custard and combine. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours and serve.
Note: you can also chill the custard first and add the chopped fruits before serving.
