Cream Cheese Chicken

This simple Baked Cream Cheese Chicken is a tasty and creamy chicken dish loaded with cream cheese and spices. The prep only takes about 5 minutes for both the cream cheese topping and chicken, and about 30 minutes of baking until chicken is tender and top is golden. SO EASY!
What to serve with Cream Cheese Chicken? Pair it with roasted vegetables, Mashed Potato, Garlic Bread or rice.
Yield: Serves 3
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut in strips
- 250 g cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup sliced green onions
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish with oil.
Place the chicken strips on the bottom of the casserole dish. Season generously with salt and pepper. Top with the garlic and half of the green onions.

In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, chili powder and paprika powder. Spread the mixture evenly over the chicken.

Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.

Bake uncovered in the middle rack of the oven for 25-35 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and top is golden.
Garnish with green onions and serve.
