Yield: Makes about 15 chocolate balls
- 170 g dark chocolate 50%, cut into small pieces
- 80 g milk chocolate, cut into small pieces
- 1 cup unsweetened desiccated coconut
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- powdered sugar for garnish
Place the chocolate and butter in a microwave safe bowl. Heat in microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring well between intervals until chocolate is melted and smooth.
Add the coconut and mix well. Leave it to cool for a minute and then add the vanilla extract and stir.
Line a large baking sheet with wax paper, set aside.
Using a tablespoon, scoop a spoonful of the mixture. Wet your hands and roll into a ball and place on the baking sheet.
Refrigerate until set. Dust with powdered sugar and serve. Store in an airtight container.
