Baked Brie with Fig Jam
Baked Brie with Fig Jam is a warm, melty appetizer made by topping a round of brie cheese with fig jam and nuts, then baking it until soft and gooey.
It is one of the easiest appetizers to make, yet an elegant dish that impresses with minimal effort.
What to Serve with Baked Brie? Baked brie pairs wonderfully with crackers, toasted bread, and sliced fruits like apples and pears.
Yield: Serves 4
- 1 round (200 g) of brie cheese
- 1/4 cup fig jam
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- chopped pistachios for garnish
Preheat oven to 360 degrees F. Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
Place a wheel of brie cheese on the baking dish.
Spread a generous layer of fig jam over the top of the brie. Top with chopped walnuts and dried cranberries.
Bake in the oven for 13-15 minutes, or until it’s soft to the touch and just beginning to ooze.
Garnish with chopped pistachios and serve immediately with crackers, baguette slices, or sliced fruit.
