If you need an easy appetizer recipe for your next gathering, make this quick garlic bread. This homemade garlic bread is a quick and easy appetizer you can prepare with just a few simple ingredients.


Yield: Makes 10-11 Garlic Breads

INGREDIENTS
  • 10-11 slices of French or Italian Bread, about 3/4-inch thick
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • salt to taste
INSTRUCTIONS

In a small bowl, cream the butter. Add the Parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic and salt to taste. Mix well.

Preheat oven to 355 degrees F. Spread a thick layer of butter mixture on top of each slice. Arrange the bread slices in a baking tray.

Bake in the oven until they are golden, about 8-10 minutes.

Serve the garlic breads as a side dish or as an appetizer.
