- 1 rack baby back pork ribs (about 1 kg)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
- 1 garlic, halved
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Preheat the oven to 275°F.
In a small bowl mix together garlic powder, salt, paprika and black pepper. Set aside.
Rinse pork ribs and pat dry with paper towels. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
Place the rack on a large sheet of aluminum foil (cut rib rack in half if needed to fit on the baking sheet).
Spread half of the mayo evenly over the rack. Sprinkle half of the dry mixture over the top.
Add a little of BBQ sauce.
Flip the ribs over and repeat on the other side. Put garlic on top.
Wrap the ribs in the aluminum foil by folding the sides up (make sure they are fully covered) and place on a large baking sheet.
Bake for 3-4 hours until very tender.
Once tender, remove from oven. Remove aluminum foil and discard juices. Brush both sides with BBQ sauce and place on a baking sheet.
Set the oven to broil. Broil until sauce just starts to caramelize, about 2-4 minutes.
