Macaroni and Cheese
Yield: Serves 5
Ingredients:
- 220 g elbow pasta
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 cups Mushroom Sauce
- salt & black pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until tender, but still firm to bite (or follow the cooking instructions on the package). When pasta is ready, drain and set it aside.
Meanwhile prepare the Mushroom Sauce.
In a large bowl combine cooked pasta, mushroom sauce and 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat an 8 x 11 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Spread the pasta mixture into the baking dish and sprinkle remaining cheese all over the mixture.
Place on the middle rack of the oven and bake until bubbling around the edges and golden brown on top. Serve immediately.
