Tilapia Pesto is one of my favorite seafood recipes; it is simple and so delicious. You can use any kind of fish you like instead of Tilapia.
Yield: Serves 2
- 2 tilapia fillets (about 350 g)
- 1/3 cup basil pesto sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- cooking spray
- salt and black pepper to taste
Mix the basil pesto sauce and sour cream in a bowl. Set aside.
Wash the tilapia fillets and pat dry. Season both sides of tilapia fillets with black pepper and salt (if the pesto sauce is not salty).
Preheat oven to 390 degrees F. Grease the bottom of a baking dish lightly with cooking spray. Place the tilapia fillet in the baking dish and spread the sauce mixture all over the fillets.
Place on the middle rack of the oven and bake until cooked through, about 15-17 minutes. Serve tilapia pesto dish immediately.
