Oregano Baked Eggs recipe is a very simple breakfast idea that will be ready in less than 15 minutes. If your favorite meal is the breakfast, you have to try this easy egg dish.

Yield: Serves 1-2

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1/2 tablespoon shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon whipping cream 35%
  • pinch garlic powder
  • pepper to taste

In a small bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano and pepper. Set aside.

Turn the oven to broil (I set on low). Place the butter and whipping cream in a 3.5 x 6-inch ramekin.

Put the ramekin in the oven and broil until butter is melted, about 2-3 minutes. Crack the eggs into the ramekin, taking care not to puncture the yolk.

Sprinkle the cheese and herb mixture over the eggs.

Put back under the broiler for 7-9 minutes (watch carefully while broiling). Remove from the oven and let sit for a minute. Serve the oregano-baked eggs with toasted bread.
