In a small bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano and pepper. Set aside.
Turn the oven to broil (I set on low). Place the butter and whipping cream in a 3.5 x 6-inch ramekin.
Put the ramekin in the oven and broil until butter is melted, about 2-3 minutes. Crack the eggs into the ramekin, taking care not to puncture the yolk.
Sprinkle the cheese and herb mixture over the eggs.
Put back under the broiler for 7-9 minutes (watch carefully while broiling). Remove from the oven and let sit for a minute. Serve the oregano-baked eggs with toasted bread.
