Garlic Tomato Sauce
Yield: Makes 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
Ingredients:
  • 4 medium fresh tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons crushed tomatoes
  • 8 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:

Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until soft, about 3 minutes.

Add the chopped tomatoes and crushed tomatoes, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cover the saucepan and allow to simmer until thickened, about 20 minutes. Serve with your choice of pasta or other dishes.
